Overwhelmed

Wonderful summer and enjoying life and as you know just when you start to do that you get hit with a kick in the ass.. sigh... and it has.   My husband has been laid off and no luck finding a job as of yet.  I know we have done this before time and again but this time feels different.  After his brain aneurysm I did a lot of praying and after 3 years we were blessed and he was working again.. but it seems about every 2 years we are doing it again.  He is a good guy and tries hard.. but Iam tired of driving a 20+ year old van that breaks down on the side of the road 3 times a week.  His is even older although the engine was rebuilt in 2000 its feeling its age too.  Im tired of the struggle .. and feel as if I am at my breaking point.  In the last 5 years we have had a 3 day vacation by renting a vehicle and going camping... once in 5 years and I can only remember that far back ... its sad.  Iam trying to keep positive but really need some encouragement I guess..and prayers..  so please if you can find it in your heart to say a few words I would appreciate it.

What a month!!!

I made a blanket for my nieces new baby due soon...I had always wished someone would make one for me when my two oldest babies were new.. no one did and at the time I didn't know how to.. so I made her a pretty girly blanket.. I made a little baby hat too but did not get pics..

Now I am making a blanket for .. hmm .. who ever or maybe I will sell this one.. anyway it is something to keep my hands busy.. it is only half finished but Iam working on it.

Also here is my chihuahua pup we will have for sale soon.. she is 8 weeks old and just the sweetest thing.. we call her Jitterbug and it looks like she will be about 4 pounds so pretty tiny but not sickly like so many of the little chihuahua's dogs you see out there.  She will be a healthy happy puppy!

Loves Frogs!

Okay I have a grand daughter that loves frogs so for her birthday I made her a scrapbook. I love doing this stuff so really it was fun for me and because I love her so that made it so much easier.

 Well not in order but you get the idea here... I hope she treasures it just because some day she may pass it down to her daughter .. who Iam sure she will name after little old ....... well its a thought any way..lol.

Well brrr

     Winter is finally getting here to my neck of the woods.. or desert...snow is predicted and lots of it and I'm not happy about it altho this area really needs it.  Being that its the middle of January and out ski resort is still not open is not helping the economy at all..lol.  Said they were losing $100,000.00 a day by not being open.. wow.   So I can put up with the snow ..maybe... I love to be home while it snows but hate driving on the roads and of course the chihuahua's are not to fond of it either.
